Anvils
The lower tool the work sits on. Its profile decides how the rivet is set, and it takes the load on every cycle.
Chicago Rivet, National Rivet, Milford Rivet, Parmenter & Bulloch and orbital riveting platforms. Tell us what you have — even if all you know is the name cast into the frame — and we will work out what it takes.
Based in Canada. Machines, tooling and parts have shipped to the United States, Mexico, Germany, Brazil and Egypt.
Most of these machines have been in service for decades. Nameplates go missing, get painted over, or were never legible to begin with. That is normal and it is not a problem — it is most of what we do.
Chicago Rivet, National Rivet, Milford Rivet, Parmenter & Bulloch, an orbital riveter, or something else entirely. The name cast into the frame is usually enough to begin.
A phone photo of the data plate, any casting or tag numbers, and one of the setting station itself. If the plate is gone, photograph the machine as it stands.
The rivet type and size you are setting, and what has failed or worn. Between the photos and the rivet, the tooling is usually identifiable.
These are the parts that touch the rivet, so these are the parts that wear. Terminology varies between makes and eras — if your shop calls it something else, describe it and we will work it out.
The lower tool the work sits on. Its profile decides how the rivet is set, and it takes the load on every cycle.
The upper tool that comes down and upsets the rivet. Matched to the head style and diameter you are running.
Hold the rivet at the setting station and release it on the stroke. Worn or mismatched jaws show up as misfeeds and scrap.
Carry the rivet from the raceway to the setting position. Sized to the rivet, so a change in fastener often means a change in pocket.
We also carry and source machine spares — the wear and replacement parts that keep an out-of-production press running. If it is on the machine and it has failed, ask. See the full parts page.
Most of these machines are no longer manufactured by their original makers. The presses are still on shop floors, still running production, and still consuming tooling. That gap is the reason this business exists.
Not on this list? Ask anyway. We see machines that were rebadged, rebuilt or built by shops that no longer exist.

A make, a photo, and what the machine is running is enough to start a quote.
