What we buy, and why.

Buying machines is half of this business. We acquire them at auctions and plant closures, refurbish them, and resell them. Buying directly from a plant is simply a shorter route to the same place.

Send the tooling with the machine

The anvils, jaws, pockets and drivers that live with a machine are worth including in what you tell us about. On out-of-production machines the tooling is frequently the harder half to replace.

Condition, in four letters.

This is the grading we use internally on our own inventory. Pick whichever letter sounds closest to what is sitting on your floor — nobody is holding you to it.

Grade A
Refurbished and ready to run.
Grade B
Working, but needs cosmetic attention.
Grade C
Parts machine.
Grade D
As-is.

Grade C and D machines are genuinely useful to us. Parts pulled from a donor machine are often what keeps somebody else's press in production, which is the whole reason this end of the business exists.

    You tell us what you have

    Make, rough condition, where it is, and a few photos. If you do not know what it is, photograph it and say so.

  2. Step 02

    We tell you whether we want it

    Straight answer either way. If it is not something we can use, we will say so rather than leave you waiting.

  3. Step 03

    We agree terms and arrange removal

    Price, collection and freight get worked out case by case — they depend on the machine, its condition and where it sits.
